Agaricus Blazei Mushroom [1] also known as Agaricus subrufescens, Agaricus brasiliensis or Agaricus rufotegulis, it is an edible species of mushroom, commonly known as the almond mushroom, mushroom of the sun, God's mushroom, mushroom of life, royal sun agaricus, jisongrong, or himematsutake. It is related to the champignon (Agaricus bisporus).

Composition

  • Agaricus blazei Mushroom is rich in immunomodulating polysaccharides such as highly branched β-1,3-/1,6-glucans (beta-glucans) and proteoglycans (proteins the body uses to produce things like hyaluronic acid, collagen, and cartilage). [1]
